THE BOTTLE´S JOURNEY | CORONA
10% of the world's population live below 10 m above sea level, which means that the remaining 90% do not see by first hand the impact generated by plastic. Corona, the brand that watches over the care of the oceans, created an experiment to show that any unrecycled plastic ends up in the ocean. We created a bottle with a real-time tracking system using an advanced GPS-integrated with a triangulation algorithm that transmitted the exact coordinates to a web platform where each movement could be seen. This platform was also connected to an Instagram account where Colombians followed the 1163 km route from the interior of the country to the ocean through one of the most important rivers in Latin America.
